What’s It Like to Coach With Me?

Every transition involves a form of grief, a period when we mourn what was or what we believed could have been. When we work together, I encourage you to honor that grief fully, even as you simultaneously move toward a new way of being in the world.

Every relationship I have with every client is unique. I don’t have any cookie-cutter formulas, no preconceived notions of how you’ll get from where you are to where you want to be. I do have tools, however, lots of them, that we can pull out when we need them to deepen your insight and help you get into action.

When you’re my client, we work together to develop real-life responses to your real-life questions, such as …

» How do I get out of my own way so I can achieve my dreams?

These are steps I encourage clients to take over and over, at every point along their journey. Here’s an overview:

Step 1
RAISE AWARENESS
If you want to change something in your life, it helps to understand what your current M.O. is. I help you identify your desires along with those pesky habits and beliefs that limit your potential.

Step 2
MAKE NEW CHOICES
Once you’re aware of the ways you operate on autopilot, you’ll start to see that there are other ways to be and to act. I love watching people open their hearts to new perspectives, to new ways of being. I help you develop and select the most effective options from the wide array of new possibilities that will become available to you.

Step 3
TAKE KEY ACTIONS
Simply being open to new perspectives can cause significant shifts in your life. Taking action  — which could even look like consciously making time to relax! — deepens the shifts and allows them to take root in your life. I challenge you to move forward toward your desires and hold you accountable for the steps you want to take.

My coaching sessions — offered in 30-, 45- and 60-minute increments — can be done on the phone or in person.
